It's good to be back after spending 10 days or so recuperating after my hernia operation, there's only so much pampering a man can stand! (I wish)
There won't be any golf for me in the next month or so as I recover, and then hopefully I can get myself ready for competitive Golf in January when I will be playing a Pro Am followed by a Senior-Circuit Tournament at Quinta Do Lago in Portugal.
My Team for the Pro Am is Garry Shoreman, John Heaton and Andy Bytheway and Quinta do Lago and San Lorenzo is probably one of my favourite golfing destinations anywhere.

Congratulations to Graham Hurst and Ian Gallagher on winning the Geoff Dempsey Memorial Trophy! They had a great score of 44 points and I can guarantee the speech Graham will make at the end of season presentation will be entertaining. Graham who is a 10 handicapper, shot 71 gross and was apparently playing with a bad back from carrying his partner; Ian did however make a great birdie on 9 and they wouldn't have won without it.
