Congratulations to Tony Vernazza on winning Tuesday's seniors competition with a great score of 44 points! Tony worked hard throughout last winter and early this summer on his golf having a course of lessons with John, and is very pleased to have reduced his handicap by four shots. In quite an amazing round, Tony had two nett eagles and nine nett birdies, well done Tony!

A special mention must go to Tom Whitehill who made a 2 on the par four 9th and a hole in one on the 15th yet had a no return! Golf is a funny game at times.
