To say we are thrilled is an understatement but after our great news a few weeks ago with our daughter Lianne expecting, our eldest daughter Lindsay is also expecting so with less then a month apart it looks like next year is going to be pretty busy.

Huge congratulations to new member Peter Finch on winning the Gerald Micklem Cup last week at the outstanding Sunningdale Golf Club, a fantastic achievement and even better representing Ashton.

Peter shot rounds of 70 and 73 on the tough Sunningdale New Course.

Well done Peter.

The Gerald Micklem Cup is a one day 36 hole scratch men's over 35 tournament,which was inaugurated in 1998 to celebrate the legacy of Gerald Micklem, former Captain of Sunningdale Golf Club. He was a leading figure in golf for over 30 years a Captain of the R&A and very much respected in the golfing world.

Make a change
