Cover Up!
As I'm sure you're all aware, face coverings will be mandatory in all retail stores from tomorrow (24th July) for the foreseeable future, which includes the Pro Shop here at Ashton in Makerfield.
Here is a statement that I've adapted from one of our neighbours Costco regarding face coverings, which I think outlines the main points I'd like to make.
Thank you for your support and understanding during what have been, and continue to be, challenging times for us all.
Face Covering Requirements: England / Wales Following government guidelines, to protect our members and employees, effective from Friday 24th July 2020 all members and guests must wear a face covering that covers their mouth and nose at all times while in the Pro Shop. This requirement does not apply to children under the age of 11 or to individuals who are unable to wear a face covering due to a medical condition. Members and/or guests without face coverings will not be allowed into the Pro Shop
The use of a face covering should not be seen as a substitute for social distancing. Please continue to observe rules regarding appropriate distancing while on the premises.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. The text above adapted from Costco states the Government guidelines for face coverings in shops effective on Friday 24th July
Below is a wonderful example of my favorite face covering which I can supply at a small cost!
As workers in the shop, Richard, Andy, and I are not required to wear facemasks but I have bought some as I am going to have to wear one everywhere else.
As stated above, thanks for your support and understanding during what have been and continue to be, challenging times for all of us.
