Evening all, Sorry no update last night the vino got the better of me!! Another great day today and thanks to Feathers and Andy helping on the car park I was able to sort out a few club repairs and some of my click and collect orders. Hopefully you will have seen the email from the club earlier re the revision of the golf arrangements going forward. There has been a lot of effort and careful consideration gone into this and I hope you will agree that for the next phase of our golfing calendar this ticks a lot of boxes and will mean everyone can continue to enjoy their golf in a safe environment. We will continue to monitor the car park for now as there are still a lot of our members very nervous of the hustle and bustle of a busy car park and teeing area. The decision to continue unchanged Monday to Friday will give you a lot of tee times and moving to 18 Holes and fourballs at weekends will give members the chance to enjoy friendly fourballs again. We will continue to review this and amend going forward, I would like to stress however that we must continue to follow the safety guidelines set in place so please don't turn up too early for your tee time and please leave shortly after play. Please observe the one way systems in place to avoid meeting golf traffic head on and also please maintain social distancing. The feedback has been great and I would like to thank everyone concerned for helping to keep you safe. I will be opening the shop from the 15th June and looking forward to tempting you with some new equipment. Opening will be a challenge and I would ask everyone to follow my safety guidelines, I have purchased a hand sanitiser station which will be at the door and this MUST be used before entering, this then means that anything you may touch will be safe for the next person, and I don't have to worry about following you around cleaning. We have a Perspex screen on the counter for all our safety and a one way system with 2 meter spaces and it will be only 2 people at a time in the shop. I know that this will present some difficulties but please be patient and I hope to be able to continue to work in as safe an environment as possible. You will be looked after tomorrow by the Team of Dave Hignett, Harry Mather, Mr Captain, Paul Kearney and Gerry Ryder so please say hello to let them know you are around. I'm having a day off so see you on Monday x
