Golf trip

Team Event Portugal - June 2018

Would you like to join us and represent Ashton next June and be a part of our ten man team in a brand new event held at the magnificent Quinta do Lago on the Algarve. The event will be Captained by myself and played in a pairs betterball format with the leading 4 pairs contributing each day.

It will be 6 nights B&B accommodation in the Magnolia hotel and 4 rounds including buggies on the Quinta courses. The cost is 850 euros which will also include a welcome drinks reception and Gala presentation dinner in the magnificent Bovino steakhouse restaurant.

The dates are 3rd to 6th June 2018 and I need to enter the names before Xmas to guarantee our place.

Top Effort from our Deputy Head Greenkeeper

Ian Taylor our sartorial deputy head greenkeeper has just been up to St Andrews with pals for a 60th birthday and I have to say he made a great effort as you will see from the photos outside the R&A Clubhouse and sat on the Swilken bridge!!

As you are probably aware when he’s not cutting greens Ian likes to look the part and every credit to him for choosing the outfits for the St Andrews experience.
