What a Voice! 

Last Friday I came along to John Flahertys Birthday party here at the Club having been invited by Mario Capastagno who had organised the evening and what a great night.

There was live music from Mario and his band who entertained us all night and then a Cameo appearance at the end from the Birthday boy John who stunned the room with his vocal performance as most people were expecting a bit of karaoke! A great night with quality entertainment.


 

New Season 

Our official start to the 2017 season gets underway on Saturday with our Captain Mike Bohanon driving in at 11.45am. 

Here in the Pro Shop we are ready for the New Season and have been very busy with new stock arriving daily from the manufacturers, including a New range of Ladies Clothing from FootJoy and a fantastic range of Golf shoes from FootJoy, adidas and Skechers.

Peter Allan - What's in the Bag?

2017 for me starts with a new set of Irons, Wedges and Driver. 

- Titleist 917 D2 Driver 8.5 degree stiff. 
- Mizuno JPX 900 Forged irons 4-pw plus an MP5H 3 iron. 
- Cleveland RTX 3 Wedges 50 and 56 degree. 

I am really excited about playing with these new clubs, the driver feels fantastic, the irons are more powerful and the wedges are simply the best I have ever used.

US Masters 

Only 2 weeks to go and I am going to Augusta with a party of excited golfers. Neil Edwards, Adrian Price, Mark Whittle, Dave Lee, Jeff Ratcliffe, Ian Glover, Paul Hayden, Ian Taylor, Damon Lawrenson, John Lee, Darren Lawrenson, Carol Moseley and Sally Basford are also coming with me in case they have not already told you.

We are staying at Harbour Town and playing some amazing courses in Hilton Head and spending a practice day at Augusta. This promises to be an amazing trip and I look forward to telling you about it on our return. I have already had some requests for the same trip next year so if you would like some details please get in touch.
