Here we go for hopefully another exciting Event. I am sure there will be a lot of talk about Arnold Palmer sadly passing away as he truly was the King! And I will always remember him acknowledging me on the tee at Bay Hill when I was there during a Pro Am in the early 1990's and had sneaked under the ropes to watch him on the 17th Tee.
One thing I am certain of is that the Ryder Cup will bring a lot of excitement, and if like me you get nervous watching then just imagine how the players feel.
Come on Europe let's have another great week.

Nefyn And Royal St Davids Pro Am
I would like to thank my Team of Dave Houghton, John Heaton and Mick Kenny for a great time playing at Nefyn and Harlech despite some atrocious weather.
It is the 1st time I had ever played Nefyn and unfortunately we were subjected to terrible weather for the 1st 2 hours or so, but I will definitely be visiting again as it is a spectacular place to play golf alongside the terrific coastline.
Harlech is a fantastic test of golf and is always a pleasure to play, luckily we were blessed with much nicer weather on Tuesday, but despite John's efforts (who played well), we were all a little off our game and only managed to finish mid table.
Nonetheless we had a great couple of days and a 'reet' good laugh.

Masters trip 2017
Would you like to join me at Augusta next March and walk the hallowed turf of Augusta National, and also play some of the finest courses in America including the famous Harbour Town Links at Hilton Head.
We will be staying on the course at Harbour Town and playing 4 fantastic courses as well as taking in the Monday Practice day.
Every player is there on the Monday practice, but the best thing is that you get much more opportunity to look around the course and take pictures which you are unable to do on most other days.
Probably if like me it is more the course I am going to look at more than the golfers themselve,s and can't wait to get through those famous Augusta gates and experience it up close and personal.
The cost is £1995 plus flight for the trip of a lifetime. I currently have 9 golfers confirmed so it looks like being a great trip.
