Loving My New Clubs

Last week I got a new set of Irons which are the New PING I series from 4- wedge and a Crossover 3 iron which I am really pleased with. 

I have been fitting lots of Golfers recently with these exact same irons and decided to give them a go myself and I am very happy with my choice.

US Senior Open Championship

Pictured with Garry at the Senior Open at Carnoustie is Gene Sauers who on Sunday won the US Senior Open beating Miguel Angel Jiminez and Ian Woosnam over the final few holes. 

Garry said he was a top bloke who was very friendly when he met him at Carnoustie, so it's a big thumbs up for the New US Senior Open Champion Gene Sauers.


 

Ladies Get into Golf

On Sunday we had around 30 ladies come along to our Taster day. After an introduction by Garry we escorted them along to the new holes where Richard and I gave a short game clinic and the ladies got to have a go at putting and chipping. 

Back to the clubhouse then for coffee, cake and a chat about how we are going to move forward with the new lady memberships. 

  

Most of the Ladies who came have now signed up for a course of Tuition over the next few months which will then lead to a 3 month taster membership which all bodes well for our Ladies section.


 

We have had a huge amount of interest already for The Masters next year from 30th March to 6th April. 

We will be staying at the amazing Harbour Town Links and playing 4 fantastic courses including Hilton Head. 

We will also be walking the hallowed turf of Augusta as well!

I will be taking deposits of £490 in the next few weeks to secure tee times with the balance due in 2 further payments nearer the time.
